Lifelogging is all about capturing those important and exciting moments in your life. Going to a concert certainly qualifies as such a moment. So I was very curious how good the Narrative Clip would work in such a situation. Incidentally, I had two concerts coming up within a few days and they were very different.

Die kulinarische Weltreise der Stuttgarter Ironblogger geht weiter. Nach italienisch und indisch-ceylonesisch war dieses Mal chilenisches Essen angesagt: Wir trafen uns im Tierra del Fuego.

Nochmal kurz: Worum geht's? Es soll wieder mehr gebloggt werden. Daher verpflichten sich die Teilnehmer am Ironblogging, pro Woche wenigstens einen neuen Beitrag in ihren Blogs zu veröffentlichen. Bei Nichteinhaltung sind 5 Euro in die Gemeinschaftskasse fällig. Und wenn sich "genug" Geld angesammelt hat, wird dieses gemeinsam verfeiert.

Mit dem Namen Karl Bartos können wahrscheinlich viele nichts anfangen. Mit dem Namen seiner alten Band dagegen schon: Kraftwerk. Die Chance, in eins der seltenen Konzerte der wieder aufgefüllten Kult-Band (hier ist der Begriff mal angebracht!) zu kommen, sind für uns Normalsterbliche ja nahe Null. Ein Auftritt von einem (Ex-)Viertel von Kraftwerk ist daher das Nächstbeste - und Pflicht für alle, die an elektronischer Musik interessiert sind.

Bleibt die Frage: Wird er auch Stücke seiner Ex-Band spielen?

Es war wieder einmal Zeit für meine jährliche Dosis irischer Musik. Wobei nicht klar war, wie hoch die Dosis ausfallen würden, denn Nádúr, das aktuelle Album von Clannad, ist eigentlich ein reines Pop-Album (und ein recht seichtes noch dazu), ohne große irische Anklänge.

Upload problems solved!

I got notice from Narrative support that a new version of the Narrative Uploader for the Mac is available and it finally solved the upload problems I had from the beginning. Yay! No more limiting the upload speed to get anything to upload at all. Oh, and I notice they fixed the "kb/s" vs. "kB/s" confusion, too. Now it say kB/s everywhere. Good work, thanks.

If you're on a Mac, you may want to download the Uploader again from start.getnarrative.com. Check the version number as displayed in the Finder. It should now start with 2014 (whereas the previous one started with 2013).
