Narrative is making progress with the battery issues I complained about in previous posts. With the 1.0.0 and 1.2.0 firmware versions, it's now possible to leave your Narrative Clip 2 unplugged from a power source over night without having a dead clip at your hand in the morning. It's also possible to leave it in a dark place during a long day at the office and still have enough battery to record your way home.

I haven't had a chance to test the current state of battery usage in continuous use. Last time I did, I got the impression that the 1.0.0 firmware had actually decreased the overall time somewhat again. I'll be finding out soon enough, as I'm heading for a conference in two weeks.

Zwei Bücher, oder vielmehr E-Books, habe ich jetzt geschrieben. In beiden geht es um das größere Thema "besseres Präsentieren", aber trotzdem sind sie recht unterschiedlich, vor allem in der Art der Veröffentlichung. Das hat diese Woche zu Höhen und Tiefen geführt ...

Das leidige Thema Feinstaub begleitet uns in Stuttgart ja schon länger. Passend zum Ende des bereits vierten Feinstaub-Alarms in diesem Jahr hatte die Stuttgarter Zeitung bei ihrer Leser-Uni einen Vortrag zum Thema angesetzt: "Feinstaub - Wie groß ist die Gefahr für die Gesundheit?"

Es ist ja doch schon "etwas" länger her, dass ich Anne Clark einmal live gesehen habe. Und da war sie auf einer Akustik-Tour. Nun aber stand bereits der Abschied an - es soll angeblich ihre letzte Tour werden. Dafür fahre ich dann auch mal nach Reutlingen.

Das Schocken ist kein gutes Pflaster für Laetitia Sadier. Als sie das letzte Mal hier spielte, verloren sich vielleicht zwei Dutzend Zuhörer im Raum. Dieses Mal waren es knapp 30, also auch nicht viel besser. Woran das wohl liegt? Letztes Jahr, im Merlin, waren es immerhin noch ein paar mehr.
