Mini Book Review: Platform
Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World by Michael Hyatt
In case you haven't noticed, I like lists.
Well, it's hard not to notice since almost all of the 60 (short) chapters in this book follow the same structure: A few paragraphs of text that introduce the topic, followed by a list of tips on how to approach it.
So the author probably won't ever win a price for style, but it gets the job done. But then again, what did you expect from a "step-by-step guide"? Content-wise, the book covers everything you need to know to build your own platform. There are few surprises in here, and no big secrets or magic bullets - which actually makes it more credible, if maybe a bit boring in places.
